Thursday Latelies!

In honor of getting my blogging groove back on, I've decided to jump into the Thursday Latelies vlog party that I've been scoping out for a while now. You know, like that creep who hangs out in the corner and watches everything that's going on at a party but won't talk to anyone for fear of sounding like a total sketch ball. Like that, only less weird. I hope.

So here it is! My first vlog ever.

Please excuse the poor sound quality at times and the ridiculous length of the video. I just kept talking and talking-- but if you watch til the end you will see some GORGEOUS hand made bracelets my bff has been crafting for her soon-to-launch Etsy.com store, and that alone is worth my ramblings.

If you want to join the party, you can link up at Bex's blog!

Well, This Is Awkward

I vanished for so long!
I had that blog-fatigue that settles over a person when the initial thrill of starting a new blog finally wears off. It happened with my writing blog a while back, too, but I found a way back into that one as well.

I think I'm back now. Don't hold me to it (because I know there are so many people out there who will *sarcasm*). But for now, I'm back. I don't want a schedule. I don't want to put pressure on myself. I just want to write about pretty things, fun things, awesome things. I want to take pictures and put them up here. I want to write short posts or long posts, blog about thrifting adventures, chronicle good food and drinks and happy people and pretty days.

Because all those things make up style. And I think living without reservation is important. I've forgotten this, so I'm trying to remind myself that life is short and there's no time to overlook the simple, lovely moments in the day-to-day. There's no time to put off your aspirations for yourself. Hop to it.

To begin a fresh fall of wonderfulness, I got a new haircut:

Happy holiday weekend!
